6th Anniversary

baby intended to bring me to mt faber for a nice dinner but I wasn't feeling it that day and suggested Indochine at wisma cos I have been wanting to try their tomyumsoup for a long time already. plus, the ambience there is wonderful too (:
the dinner was good, just hope that the tomyum could be spicier!
we walked around and decided to head to a club for a couple of drinks
drove down st james and we were the only ones there on a sunday night, had some drinks since it was earlybird special and the drinks were cheeeappp!
spent a simple anniversary this year because we decided that we have much more to look forward to in the future. it was simple but i am contented
thank you baby!

looking back, we've really come a long way.

the conclusion is that, all of us work differently and should never try to impose your style on others.
or perhaps, bestie and gang together with me have the same way of doing stuffs

in fact, i remember bestie asking me to go to school during O level days
i used to attend school twice a week and it's always bestie telling me to go back to school

today i woke up thinking about how perfect my life is
you know people tend to complain about how imperfect their life is and feel all so upset about it?
i have been feeling that way for the past few months

i thought about the wonderful people i have in my life
best of all, my dearest daddy
i don't even dare to think about my life without my daddy
he is the pillar of support in my life
always there for me
and somehow, i thought about how much he has given me
and i on the other hand, brought him nothing but trouble
i think the only thing that makes my daddy proud of me is my studies?
though it isn't very good, but at least i did not give up at all
I have never been an independent girl, daddy has always been with me and never leaving me to settle things on my own.
i have to say, i am still a daddy's girl (:

thought about my stable relationship with baby
moving in has been working well on our r/s
we hardly quarrel, in the past we'd argue about silly stuffs
our life is rather mundane now
i guess it's better than having problems every other days
Oh, i have been cooking lately
and I must say i am realllyyy proud of myself!
when baby asked me to cook dinner for him
i'd get excited or in fact, nervous about cooking that i'd lose sleep the night before
i know i'm crazy
but i'm glad my first trials at cooking have been successful & baby loves my food (:
& cos i have been cooking, i get my daily dose of vegetables!
i told leeling that i'd die if i do not consume any vegetables in a day ahahs.
last saturday, i caught UP with baby & friends
it was ultraaaa cute and reallyyyy touching! i hope baby and i could lead a simple life like the old man & his wife.
i cried when his wife attached pictures of their everyday life as an adventure with her husband. they are such wonderful couple! it was a slow movie, but i love love love it!

i am not a very sociable person, neither do i open up to others easily
so, i am happy enough that i have some good friends from every stage in my life

all of us finally met up despite everyone turning up real late!
shopped around with jam before waiting for others during dinner.
we had all the crazy & gross topics from fz & we laughed the night away at the rooftop of esplanade. i swear my jaw almost cramped. we took lots of hilarious pictures which i promise the main leads not to post them up. hahas. it was a greaaatttt night, hope bestie enjoyed herself & of cos enjoying in batam right now! (: it's been ages since i last went out with my girls ): have been working or just being with baby. so it was really a great night for me after hiding in my shell for so long!

my wireless juicy mouse ended up faulty, had it replaced with a typical juicy mouse ): it's functioning even though it is less chio than the wireless! & baby bought me hairbands from juicy! totally love it love it love it! xD

as promised, a post on my holiday job!
i have to wear gloves whilst handling the artifacts, which for my case are stamps.
the museum act one kind only lahs, having to key-in passwords & scanning of cards to simply enter every single room! i work in a cosy corner in the archival room, alone.
total shiokness cos every morning i'd scan myself into the room & doze off till lunch time.
i officially start doing my stuffs after lunch. xD anyway, my job carries high risk k!
i need to climb up high shelves just to store the fking heavy stamp artworks & drafts dated from a zillion years back! that's my job, simply assigning location for every single stamp.
i swear the stamps are damn heavy, each stamp design has about hundreds of draft before it is offically printed for use. that's how interesting my job is.

anyway, been busy with work & watching all the series of FRIENDS every single night before hitting my slumber (:

mummy&daddy are back from hongkong
& i'm glad they had a pleasant trip
somehow, it feels as though bro&i have grown up & my parents are like retirees going on holidays
only discrepancy is that, my parents paid for their own trip & they have not retired yet.
how i wish i could start supporting my parents financially so that they need not work at this age =/

anyway, i have been gg home on weekends & i dono if i should be happy or sad that my family are still living life the same, or even better.
cos when i'm home, all of us would talk lesser. now that i only go home once a week we seem to have more to talk about. or maybe it's cos that's how much we used to communicate all added up to one day. anyway, i am glad my parents are fine & even if they are happier, i'll feel happy too.
i hate to admit it, but i guess i really am the black sheep of the family.
life's fine at my side, somehow i get homesick every 2 days or even everyday ):

i was so proud of myself cos i managed to drag myself out of bed in the end cos i was contemplating if i should even attend it cos i was freaking tired and having a bad hangover. i swear i almost fell asleep during the ceremony.

we headed home & met in the evening for mandy's 21st birthday celerbation at marina square's MOF. it was my first time there & i love the food there, cos there is sukiyaki (: the dessert was super worth the money but we were all too full to finish it up. stayed over at leeling's hse for the night cos we'll be heading to genting the next day!

woke up super early, met meiqi & jerie at JEC
had breakfast before boarding the bus which came late!
survived the long journey and was super duper happy to see my baby cos he went there the night before me (:
had lunch before checking in and it was already 4pm. slacked before going out for dinner & relive our childhood by taking all the rides at the indoor theme park. baby went to casino with the rest then came to find us
we walked in the cold to a cheap mamashop at theme park hotel for some drinks & snacks before returning to the hotel room for some games. had fun & we all had a great time waking up in the night to empty our bladders after drinking so much water as our forfeit in the games.

woke up & headed for breakfast before going into the outdoor theme park! baby wasn't at his best condition so i headed for lunch with him at pizzahut while the rest continued playing. went to the pharmacy to get medicine for baby before going back to the room to rest. slacked and went for dinner together at a hainan shop & baby & leeling became sugarcane fans. went to casino & dealt with baby's pain all night while the rest waited & waited for us to play games in vain. sorry peeps! leeling & meiqi woke up in the wee hours so we decided to go out for a walk and took plenty of pictures in a closed mall.

woke up in the late morning to prepare and head out for our lunch before catching our bus back to singapore (:

sorry girls for being separated from you all cos of my bf, it was a bad trip i must admit.
first, baby was not feeling well and i felt i needed to stay by his side & couldnt have the most fun with my girls. & baby and i had a couple of tiffs. it's the first time we tiff overseas lahhs, all cos of one bitch? i am trying my best to forgive her. anyway, i am glad all's well now (:

will be moving in with baby from tomorrow onwards
i am having lots of mixed feelings about this
i'm gonna miss my family a lot a lot a lot! and my room ):
yet, i am happy cos i need not lie to my parents anymore and be able to be with my bf officially.
but still, i feel sad about it & i am gonna just take it as i am moving into NUS's hostel? i hope it'll make me feel better.
of cos i would be going home every now and then (:
daddy gave me a cheque & i was left speechless, why is daddy giving me such a big gift and should i even be accepting it? sigh

met baby after work on 13th may wednesday, headed down to bugis cos i was craving for korean food (: did a little shopping & i enjoyed the time spent together cos everything went smoothly, unlike in the past where small hiccups may simply spoil our day. yeap, it was a peaceful evening out with baby (: headed to his hse & left for home the next day when he went to work (:

met baby in town on friday afternoon cos he didnt go to work & we had a great time too. did some shopping again & we finally tried pepper lunch, such noobs i know! LOLS. it was not so bad afterall, i just didnt like the feeling of being in the smoky outlet. walked around & did some Coach survey before heading home. jerie& kids came to stay!

anyway, i went home on saturday. received lots of mail; ntu acceptance letter, my agent's contract & some other stuffs. i got pretty confused if i should try ntu, but after giving much thought i realised that i have already accepted nus. so no turning back since the ntu letter came so late. was supposed to meet my bestie & gang for samantha's bday celebration but i lost my phone! so i couldnt reach any of them cos i simply am bad at remembering phone numbers. stayed home instead. met baby on sunday & we caught Angels&Demons tgt with zx & ivan. we were allocated the 2nd front row, i thought i would die in the cinema due to neck cramps but the show was so intriguing i didnt feel anything.

& i decided to break this evil blue card of mine! decided to put my spendthrift habit to an end. blame it on nets!

i cannoooot wait to meet up with my lovelies this friday for dinner? i pray that we'll be having steamboat, so i can slurp up all the soup & conquer all the veggies! xD

went to collect my graduation robe on friday 8th may 09 with my lovelies before heading down to gardens for dinner at thaiexpress & kgardens together with baby & friends.
zx was so noisy & hysterical that leeling couldnt tahan him. LOLS. no more 2nd time i guess? hahas. leeling&meiqi cabbed home while we headed back to the same old pub to finish up the balance. i swear i am sick of that place!
went to baby's place, slept & this time i wasnt drunk! yayness, i hate the feeling of being dead drunk & vomitting like nobody's business.
woke up in the evening, met zx for dinner and we went chinatown for a while, then to westcoast rc for the boy's billard session before fetching ivan & we headed to jurong birdpark for prawning.
it was the most pathetic prawning session ever. 3 rods, 90dollars, 3 hours & only 4 prawns. plainly cos the place was packed with people since it was a public holiday! we ended up eating our 3 hours away. went back, slept & woke up early around 11am to prepare for mothers' day lunch with baby & family. then baby&i went to marina square ourselves, had margaritas & waffles over at changing appetites. headed down to liangcourt shortly for my first trial of brazilian waxing!
i was dead nervous and scared lahhs! but it turned out not as bad as i thought. LOLS. the lady even said tt people commented that it was more painful than giving birth, i swear i almost freaked out upon hearing that. but it wasn't that bad lahs.those jokers! LOLS. had dinner at an italian restaurant which was realllly chhheapp before gg to iguana for some more margaritas (:
then it was home sweet home. planned on gg home on monday morning but i slept all the way till evening & decided to stay for another night at baby's. LOLS. watched amazing race & went ayerrajahfoodcentre for supper. damn damn sinful lahs. i can still feel it in my tummmy!
slept & came home this morning. it kinda feels weird not seeing baby today cos i have been seeing him almost everyday for the past few days!

i have been a total bum since poly ended
and i believe my electrical bills will be increasing
given the fact that i only sleep at 4am in the morning
so means, lights on, aircon, computer or tv on, sometimes radio on too.
so you can imagine how the bill will come up to.
but i can't help it.
maybe cos the days are wayyyyy too hot for me to handle or do anything.

basically, i am so lonely
i have few good friends
and i only enjoy going out with my close friends
but now that everyone is working, i become the only bum around
when i am feeling for shopping, there's no one around to accompany me!
some of them are having school or away on vacation.
i have since become super lazy to even leave the house, let alone going downstairs for some fresh air.
i have officially and fully understood what a couch potato is (:

went out on monday for some interview at the National Heritage Conservation Centre? LOLS, i really do not know what it is called lahs! will be on a one month assignment if all goes well! heard the pay is goooooood (: and since i have thought of just slacking away cos seriously, i am too lazy to start working? LOLS. so a one month assignment would be just nice for me, not too long & not too short (: wish me luck.

am going out tmr to meet my lovelies to collect our graduation robe & have dinner together.
God, it's been like years since i last met up with them cos they are all caught up with work
i am still not sure about the plans after dinner, we'll see (:

28th May shall be our graduation day, and the ceremony is in the morning! & i have yet to receive the tickets or smt? & i still am unsure if my dad is going to attend it. I only remembered the last time daddy saw me going up to stage to receive some prizes was when i top the class for mother tongue. yes, i did even though my chinese now doesnt do any justice for me. well, i swear my written chinese was great in the past until secondary 3 i guess? LOLS
come to think if it, i wish daddy would come for the graduation cos i guess i might feel upset if i see my friends with their parents then & i would start to get emotional. LOLS. well, if my cliques' parents arent attending, it would be easier for me too. still, i hope daddy comes (:

& it feels like just yesterday when i entered singapore poly for orientation, & now without a blink , i'll be taking photographs of myself wearing the robe & taking my diploma! time really do fly. & i feel friggggingggg old! ):

& did i mention? imma gg on a short trip with my lovely lovelies, baby, jerie&gang as well as zx, ivan, yaoyi& wifey. i so cannot wait! travelling with my friends. the first time was secondary 3 to perth with bestie, sam & bellllaaa. i could still remember all the time spent in perth! i really do miss those young days. BAHHHS! i definitely rmb bel licking her cracked lips whilst sleeping on the coach. LOLS & the great and funny mr neo & mrs kang, and also the farm stay where everyone went out in search of jamie's handphone which was later found in the lodge's sofa seat. LOLS, the weather was freaking hot i tell you.everyone return to the lodge as if there was a drought out there. oh, how i miss those days (:

anyhooo, lovelies & i are so gg to win jackpot in the casino so we'll be able to head down to KL for shopppppppppinnnnnggggggg! we can feel it, we know we are so going to win! we can so freaking smell the money. LOLS & who knows, if we're feeling rich i hope we will be able to extend our trip or smt =D but i know it's impossible, everyone's gotta return to work after the 3 days. i hope we'll have hell lots of fun together. xD

something i read from gladys' blog, & also the reason why every once in a while i get frustrated with our relationship.

"You know like how married couples get married and then they just leave their relationship there and then. But that's not how you maintain a relationship. It's like maintaining a pot of flowers. By maintaining it, you water it every day and check on alternate days if there are any infection or insects.

A couple of days back I embarked on my journey of a million miles to school, and during the arduous journey, I so very kindly gave up my seat to this pregnant lady who was going to work with her husband. She sat and she waved at her husband, asking him to come over and stand near her. Oh that's because she was actually kind of far away from the seat.Anyway, for some unknown reason, the bloody man didn't want to go over to stand with her. I didn't really understand why either. But due to a higher power, after about ten minutes, the stupid fella then went over to stand with her. The poor lady, she was trying to have a conversation with him and he just ignored her. She stretched her arm out fully and held onto his hand, which mind you, was kept crossed tightly to his body.I really couldn't understand. I mean it's none of my business and I'm in no position to comment, but why is he treating her like this? It is because she's pregnant and thus unattractive. The woman, has suffered probably 8 months with morning sickness and peeing up to twenty times a day, and she's going to suffer for 4 hours in labour, thereafter a torn and bleeding vagina, huge heavy and sore breasts and probably hormones change which will make her look horrible, and that idiot actually just ignored her with the train full of people.I can't even fathom the kind of treatment he gives her in the privacy of their own home.

I always believed in having an active role in maintaining relationships. It might sound like fiction or a very worn-out movie plot, but I'm telling you, if no one puts in the effort, the relationship or marriage won't just become stagnant, it will stagger backwards and fall into a pit. I guess in a way, people don't see the importance of maintaining their happiness, that's why everytime when you go out, you see a lot of sullen-looking couples walking around looking as unhappy as they ever could be.I don't ever, ever want to be like that.

I mean you just imagine now, just imagine that you've found this person of your dreams, and he/she is really really all you can ask for and you really really loveeee this person to bits. Then both of you get married, buy a beautiful apartment with a great view, both of you are happy. You stand together at the balcony looking out at the sunset, then a couple of days later you are very tired after work and you prefer to just sit on the sofa and watch telly. And soon, no one ever goes to the balcony anymore.It takes mighty effort to maintain a relationship, that's not a lie, that's not anything of depth. It is just the plain truth. It's hard to maintain a relationship.

I remember once during service, a lady from Korea came to give us a sermon. She's quite old and she talked about maintaining her marriage. There was once her husband came home really late from work and she spent the whole night waiting for him to come home. When he finally got home, he told her to make coffee. She was perplexed. She thought I spent the whole night waiting for you, and now you want me to make me coffee? Then at that moment, I agreed with her too. Then she said, "But I realised something and I went to make the coffee anyway. It's already so late and instead of sleeping, he wants to have coffee with me." "

if we go on like how we do now, i see us fading away in a year. seriously, everything that is happening now is making me really upset & losing faith in our relationship. now you know why i always feel so unhappy with you? cos you are not doing anything to maintain our relationship. old couples still give each other surprises, taking note of the things she like & buying them for her on a normal day as a surprise. kissing her randomly to tell her she's beautiful. it's all these small actions that keep a relationship going. it's all these actions that i do not get that makes me so unahppy all the time! if i can't get all these, i guess there's no point being in a such a dead relationship, i'd rather be alone & die lonely in my bed when i'm old.
cos i don;t feel like i am in love anymore.

watched this quite some time back with baby, seriously i can only remember a bit of the show. all in all, it was a sweet show, which happens to almost everyone of us. when you are young & you treat your girl like your world. but as we grow up & get preoccupied by all the responsibilities, money & work, we tend to pay lesser attention to the ones right next to us. well, i did get the gist of the show even though i was half drunk cos i was drinking before the show. LOLS, that's amelia for you (:

my beloved granny's 94th birthday! 25th april 2009
held at zhou's kitchen far east square. i never knew that place existed. the atmosphere there was rather nice for chilling out & drinking with friends. (:
the food was good, it was an ala-carte buffet.
reached home around 11pm & baby came to fetch at 2am tgt with ivan, zx & wx. went to paradiz centre for sg pools? but it was closing so we went cineleisure for a movie (:

caught Taken. it was ggggrrrrrreeeeaat! i was so engrossed with the show & so thrilled that i even shrink my toes & fingers. LOLS. it was sweet how the father went all ways to get his daughter back from the kidnappers who didn't want any ransom. they wanted girls to be prostitutes or traded to freaking rich businessmen such as the sheiks. at the last part, it showed 3 girls being offered to one fat arabic old man. i turned to baby & asked: he can handle so many meh? LOLS. it is kinda scary & dawned on me that such things really do happen in reality. two thumbs up for this movie. i was so overwhelmed by the movie that i spent the following 2 hours thinking about it. LOLS. & having liam neeson as a father would be wwwoow? cos he is really charming for his age.

woke up the next day & headed to sakura at clementi woods to celebrate ivan's bday. i wonder who ever eats there! the food sucked to max, i swear! it'll be the first & last time i'm ever going there. why did the little nonya even want to endorse for them? i swear it was the worst buffet i have ever been to! seriously, it is in my condemned list (:
been learning clothes making from my nainai lately. & i just came back from her place. i finally completed a skirt of my own! (:, though a tedious process, it was satisfying. so much so, when i go shopping i'd say to myself that i should learn how to make the dresses that i am eyeing! yaynesss man! i am so proud of myself. now, who wants to buy me a sewing machine? =D

we were all geared up ready to be housewives at j8 ntuc supermarket! (:
we really make good housewives i must say, we even worked within our budget.

it was all down to chopping garlics & cooking back at jam's. samantha was obviously the best out of the 3 of us, she cooked with like so much confidence. jam's mushrooms failed cos she used the wrong mushrooms, but since she said she had made better ones before, i'll be waiting to taste her original mushrooms (: i was the cheater, i simply wrapped cocktail sausages with shaved ham & tossed them into the oven. hehes, it was impact ok?! it tasted like sausage & ham ok! hahas

after washing up & all, we sat down on the sofa simply just chatting away. it felt like we have gone back to the good old days (: i love the feeling of just lazing around with friends & having heart-to-heart talks, talking abt growing up, the responsibilities & the decisions we have to make in life & talking about our soulmates. i felt as though we are 3 tai-tais happily married or something. hahas. the only missing topic was on our kids? (: jam the makeup artist then evolved & sam & i became really satisfied customers. took quirky pictures with quirky sunglasses & soon sam & i cabbed home tgt. it was a great day, talking about the good old days & laughing abt events that happened during out field trip to australia. i love days like these! laid back & with great company, what more can i ask for? xD

julia came home and asked: i thought you'all are gg picnic?
we were cooking and preparing and all of the sudden, we naturally & unknowingly placed our food onto plates and started eating. LOLS. so the picnic didn't happen & the frigging weather is killing us! though we didn't have picnic as planned, we had tons of fun chilling out yo! love you babes, can't wait for next meeting =D date me date me! i am like rotting & soon, i'll decompose!

anyway, whenever i see friends with love problems with some other guy, breaking up or being betrayed, having to start all over with another guy, i feel so protected.
somehow, being with baby for the past 5 years surely protected my against all those heartbreaks others suffer whilst searching for their soulmate.

while my friends have not & are still searching.
baby wasn't my first love, but he is the only true bf i ever had
the ones i had before him were like a major joke. totally not a bf to me then.

though i can be really a big fat bitch all the time,

most of the time i feel really fortunate to have baby, of cos we had our tough times too. those are the only days i tend to start a bitch fit. all in all, i am still one fortunate girl (:

baby is the one i always run to when i have a bad day at home, or when i am tired & need a shoulder to rest on. i hardly share stuff with my parents so baby plays a really important role in my life other than my dearest daddy. cos they are the ones i confide in in times of confusion.

met baby at midnight on monday (:
he came to fetch & i was feeling hungry, wanted geylang's frogleg porridge but baby was feeling drowsy so.... it's henderson's teochew porridge baby!!!
each time i have it, i get the shiok sensation man! LOLS, i know i am a glutton.
baby fell asleep whilst watching tv, & i slept only at 5am, woke up ard 1pm next day.

packed & off we went to clementi swimming complex!
we finally started swimming, was a good beginning as we finally pushed our lazy ass to swim
wahlaoeh, i have to admit my stamina sucks now. swam only 6 laps & it felt like 50laps to me! LOLS. so dead, i am so fking unhealthy can!
went to his hse, bathed & had the lunch cooked by his daddy.
& off we went to alexandra ikea for our shopping
i swear, it was damn tiring cos we couldn't make up our mind or we couldn't agree with one another.
i'm so glad to have settled everything & had our hotdogs (:
went back his hse & started fixing like a contractor. baby was rather unhappy with the thought of having to fix everything up ourselves.
but i was rather optimistic from the start, i thought it would be a great activity for both of us to fix everything up together (:
it was, we started at 6pm & done around 9.30pm.

baby went to work this morning & i left for home after that
to pack vs bags since i am supposed to meet one today.
met the buyer at orchard ard 2pm & walked to cineleisure to meet the lovelies.
we went to emax to watch PS I Love You tgt with some snacks which we smuggled in.
then meiqi came, headed to wisma for a shortwhile before training to outram park station for our chinatown porridge & froglegggs! superduper dopppe!
dinner was damn damn shiok (:
bus-ed to clarke quay for cafe iguana. in the bus, we saw one slipper & we burst out laughing saying that the owner has given up on the slippers. was about to take a picture of it but the owner came from the upperdeck for it.
ate nachos & snapped photos before training home with zhihui (:
though it's a normal day, i hope my lovelies are happy with my plans cos we spent the minimal amt of money today xD

since i reckon the 3 yrs of journey from the north to the west was tormenting, i don't wanna continue the routine of travelling for at least 3 hrs daily to NUS and back to NUS!
so the best place ever is baby's place!!
it feels so much like the americans who leave their family when they reach a certain age to pursue their education & career (:

but i know many responsibilities come with it
such as no more home cooked food every single day,
washing baby&mine laundry,
sharing a room with another half meant only moving over half of my wardrobe over! or even less,
coming home to a small room
& not able to see my lovely parents everyday!

that's the thing i am most upset and gonna miss the most! cannot imagine not able to see my parents everyday after school, without mummy's home-cooked food ready for me when i reach home.
guess, it's time i grow up? i miss my parents easily if i do not see them for one entire day! i hope i can pull through! (:

read in jam's blog that she'll be going overseas to further her education, though we hardly meet up. she is still that special friend of mine, and i just hate to see the ones i love go. i've been thinking of all the fun we had growing up together during our teenage years. and i have to really admit that i'll miss her dearly. but regardless of how sad i feel, i still wish her the very best! love you girl (:

somehow, it feels like everyone has grown up. and as we grow, we start to go in different directions to pursue our dreams. it's a sad sight but still, it's something we cannot stop from happening.

so, i went to work in expo on thursday
spent the day pushing the carts, arranging clothes into the carts, hanging clothes, taking cosmetic stocks & labelling each individual sickening lipsticks & mascaras with prices!
was told i could leave at 4pm but i left at 8pm in the end
what's worse? no OT pay & the freaking boss ate away my half hr cos i was late in the morning
he paid me 50 bucks on the spot
which was spent on dinner & cabfare after work to kovan
to meet sexy ariana, she waited in town since 6pm for me & the stupid job was a joke!
we dined at thaiexpress, i swear i am gg to get their orange card! LOLS

i woke up the next morning aching like hell, didn't turn up for work
met baby & we caught shinjuku incident at westmall
was a pleasant day, went to his hse & the crowd came
jerie& her kids came to stay
i couldnt take it, so i stayed too
i woke up next morning to the sounds of little kids chattering & squibbling
went to imm with them & baby's dad for lunch
it was auntie's treat at wanzai? (:
combed daiso & bought 2 boxes, paid by uncle xD

javier failed to recognise who i am until he saw me lying on baby's bed, then he called me, like finally? LOLS
he must have recognised me as the lazy bum? LOLOLOLOLOLS!

went home and waited for baby like his wife. LOLS
we went to west coast plaza for thaiexpress dinner
the bill came to a hundred bucks lahhhhs
but i love it! =D
bought some heavenly bread & headed back to baby's hse
stayed over that night again since javier is staying too (:
fell asleep at 3am while watching tv
woke up ard 10am & baby&i went to central for breakkkfast
in the afternoon, brought the kids downstairs to play while i settled my cravings for beef after watching some food show on tv.LOLS
went back, slept & woke up for dinner at henderson

it was a great show
i was kinda upset that we didnt catch confessions of a shopaholic in causeway point.
but watching bride wars with all the snacks, it was great & equally wonderful too.
we went to bed & at 2.30am baby's phone rang, so i answered it since he was alrdy in some other land.
zhixiang was at the door, he came up to catch ManU & arsenal match on espn.
there goes our beauty sleep
we all stayed up to watch football all night
it was fun listening to the 2 jokers criticising the players & trying to claim credits for every goal, saying they were their coach, blah blah blah... both matches had a tie. LOLS, total waste of our time!
i slept till the afternoon while baby still had to drag his ass out of bed to work
went for job interviews & all before heading home for dinner
i am starting to appreciate home cooked food after being out so often.
nothing beats mummy's home cooked food (:
chilling & watch tv with the company of ultra big & juicy sweet strawberries =)
i gotta slp early tonight cos.....

good news!
i finally found a job
not an ideal one, but it's better than nothing
it's some sales position at some ladies boutique in harbourfront shopping mall
but the first few days of work shall be spent in singapore expo doing some ladies fair (:

little income is better than no income =D
but it all means no more waking up at 3pm or the late afternoons
no more nua-ing at home
no more happy sleeping hours for me!

but i guess, i've nua-ed enough already :)

stayed over at baby's place again
friday was not bad, met up with leeling&joyce for awhile
saturday was spent at downtown east with javier&family
went back to woodlands tgt with them & baby came to fetch his momsy&me home
we went out for a movie but it was a saturday night and it was so damn difficult to get the movie we wanted, went to cineleisure then to the cathay with disappointment
we decided to give up on the idea & headed down to geylang for my first try of frogleg porridge
ordered too much & i ordered crab too! the salted egg crab =D
heavenly, frogleg was great too. too bad we didnt manage to finish the frogleg.

headed to marina barrage for a walk after the sinful meal
it's a nice place to chill out, only that there are too many people there!
i think i'd prefer gg there in the day, cos the place isnt really well lit.

headed home, slept till noon and it had been a long time since we visited clementi central!
went there for baby's carrotcake, sugarcane juice and some other food
we rented tropicthunder frm videoezy and went home
lazed all the way till the night & we went to henderson for the teochew porridge which was a disappointment cos there were not much variety of dish to choose from

it was such a short movie, less than 1.5hr!

went his hse to stay for the night, we woke up in the late afternoon
sent his unwanted stuffs to the salvation army at bukit timah, and had late lunch at the bukit timah food centre. and i discovered a wonderful drink: young coconut juice! super dope, i felt a breeze when i took the first sip, LOLS! cos the weather was so fking scorching! then baby fetch me home shortly after gg back his hse to pack up my stuffs (:

results are out! and i am so grateful that i didnt have to repeat any modules at all. i seriously felt i needed to cos i simply didnt know what i was doing during the exams. thank god! and i seriously hope i'll secure a space in NUS (:

they bought an entire carton of cigarettes cos it was duty free and shared it through out the trip
brought to hotel straight after we landed

headed out to platinum mall for lunch and shopping
had japanese cuisine, the price was similar to sg lahs?
shopped ard, didnt buy much
no mood i guess.
returned to hotel and went for dinner nearby our hotel
then off to centralworld for some lingerie shopping? and starbucks love (:
naraya was like cheaper than the pasar malams there! LOLS
but the shopfront was grand lahhhs
regretted not buying more!

i enjoy all the fresh fruits and street food! =D

the tuk tuk was our favourite transport mode!
headed to some gems gallery, didnt purchse any cos i am in bkk for cheap stuff! LOLS

it was great there
bought several stuff & ate much tasty food there! i am so missing the sausage wrapped with bacon now!
and somehow regretted not eating more of their desserts!
and i have come to realise that the ppl of bkk have super duper sweet tooth!
everything there is super sweet: milk tea, lemon tea, chrysantamum tea
chatuchak was great, but we didnt get to go to the animals section, and i know its impossible to cover the entire place.
went back to hotel, headed out to baiyoke sky hotel which was a shit place, then to MBK ourselves, with his mum & marco
it was great? mayb cos there isnt much waiting here and there compared to being in a big grp
the trip there was plainly for marco
bought him stuffs, had my heavenly tomyumgoong there =D
back to hotel to wait for the others and we went to the night market nearby again

15th Mar09
went to chinatown which was a failed trip cos it was their holidays and they only open in the afternoon, but some street passerby said that it wont be open at all. so we had our delicious duckie lunch there and some bird nest& shark fins there before returning to the hotel. baby & i went for traditional thai massage nearby our hotel. the place was nice and the massage was soothing, i controlled myself from falling asleep while baby simply slept through it. went to walk ard to pratunam centre, bought dvds, local products and back to hotel.
all of us headed to MBK again for a horrible but dirt cheap dinner (:
went back hotel shortly, headed out in search for KFC and some food

16th Mar09
woke up at 6-ish am and chionged down to chinatown again
for last minute shopping
headed back to hotel and packet some food back for lunch in the hotel
we were all fking broke after coming back frm chinatown that's why. hahas
then to the airport & good bye bkk
baby's dad came to fetch, (:

i didnt really enjoy the trip
the number one reason: baby's stuupid theory of giving me attitude and being fking fierce to me!
bkk wasn't as exciting as i thought it to be
i didnt get to do what i wanted: braid my hair & watch the ah gua show, and drink many tomyum & coconuts
and everyday was simply shopping and shopping and shopping
and last but not least, i wanted a nice and romantic trip with baby but it didnt happen due to many reasons
i guess bkk has become too expensive than before, simply cos of the number of tourists there, everything there became more expensive than the past.
and the final reason: i left a bag of souvenirs in bkk, now i do not have enough souvenirs for my friends, sighhhh

i wish for another trip badly, cos this trip was kind of a disappointment ):
and i am so glad to be home, being happy to be home only shows how lousy the trip was.
spent $300plus only. baby spent $500plus. but we didnt spend any personal time together at all.

i hope the next trip will only be just me,baby & another couple the most, call me selfish but i really hate it when others are around and baby wont be able to give me undivided attention and love!

brother bought me this, in case you dont know, he never buys me stuff! reason being: i listened to him rant about how angry he is when mummy says smt negative about the things he do. we went ikea on saturday and bro wanted some carpet and mummy simply being a spoil spot said that it'll only be collecting dust. so bro simply threw the carpets away and walked out on us! seriously, i am super upset with the way my family is. met baby on friday, wanted to go out but we were too tired to even wear our shoes. LOLS
met baby on saturday as well, for a late dinner cos everywhere was packed! ended up in compasspoint's ajisen! we were bickering all the way, non-stop for the entire week. baby bought flowers last minute. but, i dono even though i was happy for the moment. i felt like it isn't very sincere? maybe i think too much lahs.

anyhoos we met early this morning and slept all the way till 5pm. prepared and it was my treat tonight! treat baby & his mom to a buffet dinner at swissotel merchant court. that's my vday treat to baby! (:

the final week of polytechnic was a jokespend it doing tutorials & getting stress over the coming examsthere was simply no time for us to even realise that it is the last week of poly life!sigh, in the past, the final week of school would be spent taking numerous pictures & writing numerous biography books for everyone in the classthis time round, there was nothing at allit just seemed like another school day for all of us
how sad is that?

i will always remember the lunchbreaks spent at MLT1, spending our time in the project rooms in the library just to complete tutorials & sometimes, even go crazy inside there. always looking out for computers at the printer corner in the library cos those function faster.always getting cranky & crazy when the day is coming to an end, the crazy hokkien speeches conversed between us and laughing crazily along the corridors. remembering leeling's falling-down dance & her bag-swinging moves as well as her tilt&turn hand dance (:

i'll remember the favourite toilet of ours, the crazy day we sat at mac after one of our exams and we laughed at our pathetic selfs when the lights started to switch off.the attitude macdonald auntie whom we claim is too tired like us. the fish soup auntie who almost slipped but manage to balance it off like a dance. the times spent fighting for the sambal sotong at the veg stall we once loved. and trying not to get the other auntie cos she gives too little food.
i'll remember the ugly arguments like a bitch with those that i hate in year one & two.

i'll remember the one and only night we spent together in my house was just to complete our FYP, laughing in the dawn due to tiredness & crazy thoughts. spending minutes before exams at the corridor & foodcourt memorising to the very last minute. & i'll remember all the friends made there! (: i'll remember leeling offering her slippers to justin when we hid his. i'll remember all the impact words used by zhihui, all the zac efron& vanessa hudgens moments in class. i'll remember laughing at fugly clothes in online shops with leeling, laughing at mandy for a picture of her in SIA stewardess uniform, zhihui, for kena-ing bird shit & shouting JOKE super loudly in the coffeeshop!

i am also grateful to those dedicated lecturers of SP. there is no one teacher that i am ever attached to when i was in sec sch. the lecturers here are way different, they are like friends and as crazy as the students. the lecturers do try their very best to help. i'll always remember the accounts teacher ms lim meng lee,whom i hated initially cos i cannot understand a single thing she taught, but i was touched when she sacrificed her time to give us extra lessons even though she only taught us for econs tutorial, until we truly understood everything, and it was cos of her, i pulled through my 2nd year! the ever patient mr alphonsus ee for teaching us law and drilling every single concept into us, for the last minute lectures & sessions to help all of us pull through the terrifying law exams. mr ong kung yew for his funny law lectures and making first year so fun for all of us. mr teng ah lek for being ever so forgiving, never once did he blew his top when we are always late for his lectures for over an hour, every single week. his cute eyebrows and funny pronunciations!

the valuable friends especially leeling & mei qi. we've stuck through everything together. all the bitter sweet moments, as well as the crazy times. i must say, polytechnic life was more enriching than my sec sch life. i truly understood the meaning of studying hard & playing hard. i also found a special friendship: to argue and quarrel & yet still able to laugh & go crazy together (:
i am going to miss all these, i still laugh whenever i think of all the funny times spent together with my lovelies. i am gonna miss all of you ):

please tell me that our friendship will go on for the many years to come?

yesterday was a terrible day for me
was fking sick then i couldnt even smile, speak or laugh
i guess everyone could feel the difference
cos on normal days, i'm ultra noisy
left school after lunch break cos i was feeling fking cold & my entire body was aching as though hundred of needles were in me!

i couldnt take it anymore at ard 10plus pm, didnt want to visit the doctor's but baby insisted on bringing me to one.
and gosh, i got a shock of my life when the doctor took my temperature 40.5 degree celsius!
i think if baby had not brought me to the doctor's i might have become an idiot by now.
doctor gave me jab, it was ultra painful that my arm swell up!
i am feeling better already, but the pills are making me sick and nausea.
thanks baby for coming all the way from clementi just to accompany me to the doctor's at night
you saved my life! (:

happy OX year people!
my CNY wasn't as happening compared to the years when i was much younger
because, i no longer play kids games with my cousins
as the years go by, i simply spend my time sitting around, watching tv and indulge in cny goodies
reunion dinner was over at my place, mummy was the chef & daddy was the assistant. brother & i decided to stay out of the firing squad, cos mummy gets all grouchy when she is busy
it was a great dinner with crabs & prawns (:
yummy! cos i am a big fan of seafood, esp crabbbbbs
caught MadAboutEnglish tgt with the family and all left at around 10pm
did some last minute pedicure before heading to bed
first day of cny
first stop was my nainai's place, sat ard and watched some tv
headed to toapayoh to visit my ahgong's elder sister for a short while
planned to pay some respect to my ahgong at some church, but before we could even see the church, we saw a huge jam. that;s how crazy it is. but i thought to myself, at least people still bothered to visit their lost loved ones (:
went to baby's dad's place for some food & for javier cutie
he is so cute in his traditional costume, marco and he wore matching traditional costumes. chermaine wore hers too! classic, too bad i couldnt get all of them to pose a picture for me! ):
brought javier&chermaine to the playgrd with baby. javier was uber happy&excited at the sight of the playgrd and was reluctant to leave as well.
baby then fetched me home before he head home cos he was ill, poor thing!
i went to granny's place after that.
this year's attendance was only 30% of the usuals! so imagine how much angbaos i have lost out?hahas. i wonder why man. it's so saddening! anyway, celeste kept us entertained with her storytelling session. young she maybe but her vocab was POWDERFUL man! LOLS

visited my ahgong cos there was no more jam, before heading to my nainai's place again
i always look forward to the second day cos it's known as the popiah day as well (:

i enjoy the auditions most, it is the only few episodes what are so heartfelt and filled with emotions and dreams?
seeing auditioners crying tears of joy and tears of disappointment really touched me to tears. Cos i can feel how much they really want something badly!

i really want something badly, but i have never had the courage or ability to pursue it. I have always been someone who procrastinates a lot. and i mean a lot! something about me that really makes me wanna shoot myself in the head sometimes. I wish i had the passion and determination to go for something which i really want badly, just like those auditioners in AI.

there's this sad guy who sung really well just for his wife who passed away just 4 weeks before the audition. seeing him cry on national tv allowed me to feel his deep love for his wife (:

that's how amazing television can be! and how emotional i can get, just from watching AI.
